They're Almost Here: The Newest Shops at Target!

Ever since the launch of its GO International collection in 2006, I've been excited to see what designers Target will tap next. From Tracy Feith to Proenza Schouler to Tucker, there were few collections I couldn't wait to sneak a peek at. When they started working with people like home decor icon John Derian, I jumped for joy.

However, as much as I liked their mission to deliver high fashion & design in a more democratic way, what I think I've appreciated the most is their latest series of partnerships with small, independent businesses through the The Shops at Target. 

The latest installment, available September 9, features collections designed by the owners of staple independent shops from NYC (Kirna Zabete and Odin), Boston (Patch NYC), and San Francisco (The Curiosity Shoppe).

Kirna Zabete

I love, love, love this SoHo boutique, founded by two incredibly stylish Southern women. Of course, I can seldom afford to shop there (hello, end of summer sale!), but I appreciate that they still hand pick every item in the store, each meant to be an outfit-making piece. They've definitely taken the same philosophy with the collection they've created - below are a few fun picks.
